The DBK Bypass System, manufactured by Do It American MFG Company, is designed for those utilities that are set up to tap directly into a supply port and deliver a non-interrupted supply of natural gas during maintenance procedures. This flexible and lightweight system can be adapted to work with a variety of bypass methodologies. Like the other Do It American Bypass systems, that were first introduced 11 years ago, the DBK is designed for the safety and convenience of the technician and for the satisfaction of the natural Gas Customer.

Features/Benefits/Safety

  • Supports bypassing from a supply available on the riser or stopcock to a bypass port downstream of the meter
  • Utilizes the Belgas P140R regulator – supplied with 8-14 IWC range spring (other options available upon request)
  • Includes 0-15 IWC gauge for inches water column delivery pressures
  • Includes custom regulator adjustment tool
  • Supplied with alternate 1-2 PSI range spring and red cap
  • Supplied with alternate 0-5 PSI gauge for pound per square inch delivery pressures
  • Includes brass quick connect adapter (non-sparking) on supply line for easy connection to supply adapter
  • Includes ½ NPT galvanized union on bypass line for easy connection to bypass adapter and minimal flow restriction
  • Supplied standard with 3 FT long supply and bypass hoses with protective spring guards – hoses rated for 60 PSI
  • Standard kit is supplied in an impact-resistant shell case with a laser cut foam-padded interior customer engineered to protect the DBK from damage when not in use.
